The Parr's home along the Spokane River had settled over six inches on the bank side. It had been built by a reputable contractor that was president of the local builder association. He cheated on the footings, placing the footings at the top of the bank rather than cutting them into the hillside.

The Parrs had to hire a foundation restoration company to the tune of 100K. Even then, they were unable to bring the home back up to complete level. But, at least, they stopped the sinking from continuing.
After the foundation restoration, the house was still somewhat out of level. It was our job to replace the deck and make it work out, compromising between fitting to the house and making level.

Here are some of the contortions we had to go through to complete this project.
It turned out very well. The Parrs are very pleased.
