Rear deck view. This home was built between Deary and Kendrick, Idaho, on the Palouse, in 2000 for the Pattersons.

Mr. Patterson was an inspector on a home I built in Kirkland, Washington. He told me he was moving to Idaho. I told him I lived in Idaho.
Front view of the Patterson home.
View of the home from behind the pole building we built for Mr. Patterson's restored BMWs.
A view of the pole building from the rear of the home. The pole building presented soime interesting challenges. We cut the hill over eight feet to accommodate the building. By then we were into hard pan. Even with carbide tips on the skid steer powered auger, it took more than three days to drill the holes for the poles.
A view under the deck. Looking at the sliding door to the family room.
A view of the estate from down the hill.
This is looking the other direction - a view from the deck (with a little zoom on).
