The Myhr / Monsma residence in Post Falls, Idaho before construction began. Our job was to build a roof structure for the deck.
Here is the completed project. The new roof cover provides shade from the sun and protection from rain and snow. No need to move the summer toys to shelter every winter - they can enjoy the deck year round.
A closer view showing more detail of the roof covering for the deck. The vaulted ceiling is a nice feature because it gives the deck and uncrowded feel.To build this structure, we did not have to do any demolition to the deck itself, except for the removal of the two railing corner posts.
